February 2026 Walk – Details

Everything is Connected- Contemplative Walk in Nature

Walk:  Silverstream Reserve –(West End), Clarkville,

Date:   Saturday 21st FEBRUARY (if unsuitable weather, we will try for Sunday)

 Gathering Time for walk:  10am – 12:30pm

 Location for walk: 431 Heywards Road, Clarkville, Canterbury

Shared Transport: Departing 9:30am – Northward Supa Centa If anyone interested in shared transport please indicate and be at Northward Supa Centa, 1 Radcliffe Road.

Description &Distance: Silverstream Reserve is located in a rural setting near the settlement of Clarkville, 4 kms from the boundary of Christchurch City. This large reserve is split into two similar-sized areas, east and west. Both are characterised by the clear, spring fed Silverstream waterway, which meanders through regenerative native bush and a pastoral setting. We will walk the west end. It is an easy loopwalk of approx 2kms. You will be invited to walk alone in Silence or for a period of time find your own solitude space. 

BYO: Snack; appropriate walking gear; maybe something to sit on.

Toilets: There is a toilet a short drive to the east section of Reserve.

 Reflection thoughts: Will be emailed once you indicate you are coming. Please indicate if need a hard copy of the reflection.
